1.Borrowing

1) Currently the books that can be borrowed are those available for circulation in the reading room of King Abdulaziz Public Library Branch in Peking University (“Library Branch”).

2) Borrowing method:

a. A self-checkout machine is available at the reading room on the ground floor of the Library Branch by which readers can borrow books by themselves following the instructions with the university ID card. b. Readers can also turn to the staff for help to borrow books manually at the Information Desk. c. In the case of any problem concerning borrowing, please contact the staff for help.

2.Returning

1) Readers can return the borrowed books themselves by the self-checkout machine.

2) In the case of any problem concerning returning, please contact the staff for help.

3.Renewing

1) Generally, books can be borrowed for one month and renewed for five times (Course reserves cannot be renewed). Readers can log in to their personal account on the homepage of Peking University Library and renew the books themselves.

2) The renewed books will expire one month later from the date of the renewal.
