    Notice for Recommended Book-Buying

    1. The recommender should hold a valid library card of Peking University.

    2. The following information should be provided for the book purchase request, and the items with * are obligatory.

    Publisher *

    Year of

    3. Instructions for filling in the Recommended Book-Buying Form:

    Title: The title of foreign language books should be filled in the same language as the text.

    Responsible person: Please fill in the first responsible person. For those translated works, please provide the information of the original author and the translator.

    Publisher: Please fill in the country where the publisher is located if the information is available.

    Year of publication: If there is only the expected year of publication, please provide the information.

    Edition: Please fill in the edition if the information is available (excluding the first edition). If it is a revision or supplement to a certain edition, please fill in the edition and its additional information.

    ISBN: This is an important sign to identify whether a specific book is an official publication. Please provide it if at all possible.

    Remarks: Other cases or supplementary information that need to be explained

    If you acquire the bibliographic information from the Internet, you can copy and send the information to us (please copy the website address together) as long as the requirements of the form are met (the extra information does not need to be deleted).

    If it is a batch recommendation, please provide the above information by Excel.

    4. After completing the form, please email it to: kaplacq@lib.pku.edu.cn . The staff of the Library Branch will reply to you in a timely manner after receiving the email.
