Every part of the data palm is useful—its fruit can be wonderful food, its trunk and branches can be used to build houses or used as ideal fuels, its fiber, petioles and leaves can be made into various daily necessities. The series of dates under the “Splendid Culture” will focus on introducing the categories, characteristics and functions of the dates in Saudi Arabia to help readers to gain a deeper understanding of dates and their cultural connotation.
